Frito Bars 
 
 10 1/2 ounces Frito corn chips (Frito Lay) 
 1 cup white sugar 
 1 cup light corn syrup(Karo) 
 1 cup creamy peanut butter ( Skippy) 
 1 cup Milk chocolate chips (Hershey or Nestle) 
 
 In a greased 10x15 pan, place corn chips. 
 In a sauce pan, bring the sugar and corn syrup to a boil over medium heat. 
 Remove from heat and stir in the peanut butter until smooth. Pour over the 
 Fritos ans smooth it out level. I mixed them together to get them all 
 covered. I used choc. chips and melted them in the microwave and drizzled 
 them over the chips. Allow to cool and cut into bars. 
 
 I think I am going to use butterscotch(HyVee) and choc chips next time for 
 the top so it's more like my scotcharoo's. 
 
 
 
These are the bars I made for the Fremont Celiac Support Group meeting. 
They are great. It's the scotcharoo recipe only you use Frito's to make a 
sweet and salty bar. Frito's are gluten free.
