Glutino - Wide variety of frozen foods, cookies, and snack crackers

Gluten-free Essentials - baking mixes and instant rice blends

Bob's Red Mill - GF Baking mixes and milled gf flours

Health Valley - Rice and Corn Crunch Ems (just like Chex but without the malt), Chicken and beef broth, some canned soups

Nature’s Path - Honey'd and/or Fruit Juice Cornflakes, Sunrise Mesa, Crispy Rice

Enviro Kids -Gorilla Munch, Peanut Butter Panda Puffs, Koala Crisps cereals

Gluten-Free Pantry - dry mixes ( follow directions exactly) Brownies, Chocolate Cake, Cookie and Cake Mixes, French bread, and Sandwich bread work well.

Tinkyada - rice pastas - many varieties - cooks and tastes very similar to wheat pasta

Twin Valley Mills - sorghum flour - this flour adds nutrition and texture to gf baking

Ener-G Foods- snack bag pretzels

Daisy  - sour cream

Breyer’s - ice cream (check ingredients for cookie dough and barley malt.)

Kitchen Basic - Chicken or Beef broth in a carton

Hormel - pepperoni,  Canadian bacon, and Cure 81 hams. Look for gf on label.

Shop these stores for gluten-free products:

ü       Health Markets in Hy-Vee stores contains a large gluten-free selection.

ü       Open Harvest  bakes gluten-free breads and muffins on Saturday morning.  Call ahead to request a few unsliced loaves. Also check the freezer section for their breads. Onion and Dill bread uses- egg casseroles, stuffing, bread crumbs, garlic toast, and grilled for sandwiches.  There are some gf deli items; ask for assistance. The cheesecake may be gf.

ü       Akin’s  and Red Clover have extensive gf products in the gf aisle and freezer.

ü     Wild Oats in Omaha carries an extensive list of gf products. Also ask at the deli and bakery for assistance in selecting a gf item.  They carry a gf bread, Golden Waves of Grain; plain, herb, and cinnamon raisin.

ü     Whole Foods in Omaha carries many gf frozen breads, etc. found near their bakery.

?        At first it may seem very expensive to purchase these products; however, hospital bills and medication can be even more so.
