| Our support group meets to discuss issues related to Celiac Disease (CD) (which is also called "Celiac Sprue") and Dermatitis Herpetiformis (DH). We promote education, health, and wellness for the gluten-free (GF) lifestyle. In addition to our regular meetings, special meetings are held as needed for newly-diagnosed celiacs. Each support group meeting features a different vendor of GF products. Available at our support group meetings: cookbooks, product information, recipes, dining suggestions, and information for newly-diagnosed celiacs. |

We will have a Chinese New Year Dinner tasting event on February 9, 2012 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Hy-vee. The cost is $10 per person. In celebration of the Chinese New Year, we will feature Asian-style foods from appetizers to desserts. We will have generous and tasty food samples. Call Becky at 402-467-5505 to register. |

March 24 - Dr. Douglas Dalke, Lincoln Celiac Support Group Medical Advisor will speak. Bring your questions about celiac disease and gluten sensitivity. We'll have GF Treats to share too! (Please note due to Dr. Dalke's availability this is a change in the calendar. No meeting on March 3rd.)
April 7 - Dr. Stephen Taylor,
UNL Food Scientist. Dr. Taylor is a well-respected expert in the
food allergy and testing field especially gluten. He always has an
excellent presentation and Q&A.
